Memorial Coliseum Recognized As World Leader

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum has again been named as one of the best venues in the world, with recent recognition in a pair of industry-leading publications, Pollstar and Venues Today.

Pollstar included the Memorial Coliseum in their 2017 3rd Quarter Year-To-Date list for Ticket Sales, at No. 135 in the world, amongst all arena venues. This list ranks the Memorial Coliseum ahead of comparable venues such as the Ford Center in Evansville, the Huntington Center in Toledo, the Nutter Center at Wright State University in Dayton and the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids.

Venues Today ranked the Memorial Coliseum at No. 15 in the world, among similar-sized venues, for the recent reporting period of July 16 through August 15. The only other Midwest venue to make this list was the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.

The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum has continued its streak of welcoming 1,000,000 or more guests for 26 consecutive years and is on pace to make it 27, by the end of 2017.
