FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Those attending the Brad Paisley “H2O Frozen Over Tour” show at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Friday, January 21 have the chance to get up close and personal with the singer if they also help feed hungry people in northeast Indiana.
Each person bringing a food donation to the concert for Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana will be entered to win a chance to meet Brad Paisley, considered one of country music’s most original and multi-talented artists. Paisley has three GRAMMYs and has been named Best Male Vocalist for the last three years by the Country Music Association and the last four by the Academy of Country Music and was 2010's CMA Entertainer of the Year. For every five cans donated, the concert-goer will receive one entry.
“We are so pleased to be able to partner with Brad Paisley,” said Jane Avery, executive director, Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana. “Clearly he understands the plight of those who are struggling and he wants to use his celebrity to help them. That says so much about his character and Community Harvest is so grateful for his compassion." said Avery. "The kind folks at Live Nation called us and asked what could be done to help and we were thrilled to take them up on their offer!"
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Look for the Community Harvest table to the right of the elevator by the Expo IV doors to drop off your food donation and fill out a form for every five non-perishable food items. No glass, please. A food donation does not constitute admission to the concert and you must already have a concert admission ticket to participate in this opportunity to meet Brad Paisley.
