    THE SOUND OF MADNESS,
Shinedown's third album is the Florida rockers' boldest effort to date. Like its two predecessors, 2003's Platinum LEAVE A WHISPER and 2005's Gold US AND THEM, THE SOUND OF MADNESS offers a brave and unsparing look into the soul and psyche amidst a fierce musical attack that, even in its quieter moments, vibrate with the passion, energy and focus of a band with high-minded ideals and limitless ambitions. Smith and company began the recording process for THE SOUND OF MADNESS with the formidable task of following up two massively successful albums that yielded a staggering seven consecutive Top five rock and alternative radio hits that included "Fly From the Inside," "45," the chart topping "Save Me," and a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man," along with a reputation as a hot live band with an insatiable appetite for the road. However, after one listen, it’s clear that the band didn't shrink from the task. Where THE SOUND OF MADNESS differs most is in its growth; it’s the product of a group that has developed an even clearer vision for how it wanted to impact an audience.

Multi-platinum Flawless/Geffen recording artist, Puddle Of Mudd, release their fourth studio set, VOLUME 4: SONGS IN THE KEY OF LOVE & HATE, on December 8. The album follows the phenomenal success of POM’s third release, 2007's FAMOUS. FAMOUS proved the band’s consistency to deliver to not only their fans, but on all business platforms. One single off of FAMOUS, “Psycho,” earned Billboard Magazine's highest honors - #1 Mainstream Rock Song of the Year, #4 Hot Modern Rock Song of the Year, as well as Mainstream Rock #2 Artist of 2008. Radio and Records posted “Psycho” as the #1 Rock Song of 2008, #2 Active Rock Song of the Year, and POM earned their Number 3 status for Rock Artist of the Year.

Since Skillet last hit the studio for 2006's breakthrough project COMATOSE, the group has toured with the likes of Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether and Flyleaf, followed by a solo headlining ranking within Pollstar's Concert Pulse Top 50 Tours for 2008. Backed by both public adoration and critical praise these Grammy-nominated modern rockers are rapidly approaching gold sales status, making the brand new AWAKE (Atlantic) the band's most anticipated album to date.
