Event Details
The 2026 Mazuri AOA National Alpaca Show returns to Fort Wayne, Indiana, March 13–15, bringing together alpaca breeders and the public for a unique, family-friendly event celebrating alpacas, fiber, and agriculture.
More than 500 Huacaya and Suri alpacas from across the United States will compete for National Supreme Champion honors, judged on conformation and fleece quality. Visitors are welcome to watch the competition up close and learn more about what makes these animals exceptional.
Beyond the show ring, guests can browse a public marketplace featuring alpaca yarn, socks, apparel, and handcrafted gifts. Free educational classes will be offered all weekend, including live fiber arts demonstrations and Alpaca 101 sessions for those new to alpacas.
Families are encouraged to attend. The popular Alpaca Selfie Booth returns all weekend, offering free photo opportunities with a friendly alpaca. Kids can also participate in a scavenger hunt hosted at the AOA booth and earn an Alpaca Activity Book.
Special events include the Alpaca Costume Contest on Saturday, where participants of all ages showcase creative costumes while prioritizing animal comfort and safety.
Admission is free, making this an easy and engaging outing for all ages. For full details, visit www.alpacanationals.com
